Blended Aesthetics
skin Care
Skincare is my passion. My trade. My career. The one thing I can discuss with confidence. It is my passion & hobby!
A very brief look into my past….
Graduating from the Aveda Institute, Minneapolis in 1999 with my certification of completion of the study of Esthiology. I took my state boards and passed right away. Immediately following I began my career entering into more training! I was chosen to continue in advanced education with a large spa, that trained on several techniques and products. I then got hired and placed by that spa and worked for one year before heading home to work at a small town spa, which I learned how to work as a team and build a clientele new to the skincare world. This was in the early 2000’s in Minnesota, skincare was NEW! From there I eventually opened my own skin studio.
Life happens and I closed my studio, positively new doors opened! I became the Aesthetician lead at a medical skin care clinic. I received extensive medical skincare training I will be forever grateful for. Lastly, 7 years ago I ended my amazing adventure as the Minnesota sales consultant and educator for a large skincare company. My husband and I decided it was best for our family that I stay home to focus on the kids…..funny thing, I have been so involved in skincare and ingredients since I don’t feel like I left…just took the easy route!
I have always had a passion for skin, it is our largest organ and has so many uses and we usually neglect it! My other passion is ingredients, how they absorb into the skin, and enter our body. Along with th effects of what we put in our bodies internally, also has an impact on our skin. I have attended numerous conferences, trainings, product knowledge, and continuing education through the years. I am excited to share my knowledge that I have experienced!
Aesthetically yours,
Katie Brown
